How are your common tests? Hope you're doing super well(:
But if you're feeling too stressed, here's something to look forward to...
GB Christmas Play!!!!! Yay!!!!
It's actually an old tradition of GB but had not been going on for a while.
So during this year's annual camp, we'll be bringing back the tradition(:
Everyone has to be involved some way or another but don't feel too pressurized about it!
It should be lots and lots and lots of fun!

So what you guys have to do for now, is to sign up in whichever committee you want to help out in.
They are the play, choir, logistics and welcome.
All the committees are equally important but please remember that not only do you choose which comm you want to be in, they will also choose you!
Thus, try to choose something that you feel you are more talented in(:
The sign up sheets will be up on the notice board on Monday, 17th August and will be taken down on Wednesday the 19th.
Those who don't sign up by then will be assigned into a committee by the Christmas Play Committee.

A brief description of each committee:
Play script-writing, costumes & props, acting, backstage crew
Choir song writers and singers
Logistics decoration of canteen and audi, programme sheet
Welcome ushers, souvineers, photographer

The deadline for the submission of your GB Fortnight Cards will be on the 27th of June, 2pm.
Please hand up your cards on time!
You are to give it to your respective teacher-in-charge.
Please issue a check for the whole amount and also include your name, class, squad and card numbers at the back of the check.
The check is to be addressed to:

Make sure you write it correctly kay!
In any case that you send the donation form to the wrong address, the card is lost etc., you HAVE to inform your teacher-in-charge and Miss Yang.

School's just started once again. I know most of us feel like one week is much too short. I know I do! >< But just remember to lean on the Lord for strength and motivation, yeah? (:

Anyway, there is a GB meeting this week at 3.00pm. Please come in your full GB uniform. As you all know Enrolment Service is this Saturday, so the officiers would like all of you to be in uniform to check that you're wearing it properly. The meeting should end at about 5.30pm as we will be practicing for Enrolment Service.

As for this Enrolment Service I keep talking about, it's this Saurday. Report at 8.30am in full GB uniform and dismissal is at 11.30am. Your parents are invited to come for this at 9.30am. The Service will be held in the auditorium.

I hope everyone's enjoying Chinese New Year. I think most of us welcomed this holiday with open arms. Lol. Do take the time to rest but also take the time to do some work! Remember to execrise moderation with the CNY goodies. Either that or drink lotsa water! :D

I hope everyone had an awesome time during Fellowship Camp. Even though there can only be one champion, everyone's a winner. I don't think I've ever seen more enthusiasm in camp. It was nice to see the Primary school working with the Secondary school too. Also, Congrats to Skylarks for being the Squad Challenge winners. I'll keep you posted on pictures ^^

Anyway, there won't be a GB meeting next week, due to the Chinese New Year Eve celebrations. Everyone have a good break, since it's a almost a week with the one extra day! :D Don't forget to take care of yourselves. The goodies might be yummy but exercise moderation!

During this break, kindly remember to plan the designs of your Children's Aid Socitey Home journals with your partners. Let your creativity flow and have fun with it ^^ Remember to bring your materials you need for the next meeting.

Hope all are well (: School's officially in full swing and a lot of us are feeling the pressure (especially since the O Level results of '07 just got released /:). Just remember to do your best to trust in the Lord and His plans for you, even though they might seem difficult. Reach out to Him because He's always there (:

Anyway, there isn't a GB meeting this week so don't stay back. However, you have Fellowship Camp to look forward to! :D That means the Squad Challenge trohpy is up for grabs again. (Yes, such a trophy exists D:) Details are as follows:

Camp duration: 1st Feburary, Friday (3.00pm) to 2nd Feburary, Saturday (3.30pm)
Reporting attire: Mufti (GB tee or school-based tee with pinafore)
Reporting venue: Primary School Hall, Level 3
Notes: Kindly get your parents to write a letter to Miss Yang, if you have another CCA on Friday. Dinner will be served at 6.30pm.
Things to bring:
1) Waterbottle
2) Shoes
3) Sufficient change of clothes
4) Toiletries
5) Sleeping bags
6) Jacket (if necessary)

Anyway, I hope everyone is okay. Sec 1s to 3s getting back results and Sec 4s with Os. Whatever the case, if you're scared, worried or the like, bring it all to the Lord, yeah? Remember Mark 11:24. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Right now, onto business.

Everyone:

There will be a GB meeting next week on 24th October, from 2.00 to 4.15. This will be the last meeting for the year and is our end of year party. Mufti is the attire for the meeting. Come with an empty stomach for lunch will be provided! xD

If you would like to do a testimoninal about how God has blessed you throughout the year during that meeting, do email them to Miss Toh or Miss Ng by 22nd Oct. They should be 75 words maximum. Do include your name, class and squad name.

Sec 3s:

There will be a meeting regarding planning of Annual Camp from 5 to 6 after the 24th October GB meeting. During this meeting, you have to present the progress of your committee's given task.

Do check your emails on the camp groupings. Find some time to get together with you other group leader to create group identity.

Those who haven't handed in Annual Camp forms:
There shouldn't be anyone in this catergory because that makes you really really late. D: Drop your form and $15 in a sealed envelope into Miss Gloria Chong's pigeon hole as soon as possible.

Monday:
GB Day. Everyone, including the Sec 4s, are to be in full GB uniform. So go check your uniform parts now! Lol.

Wednesday:
No GB meeting but Founder's Day parade rehearsal from 2:30 to 4pm. Very important that you attend or you'll have to face the consequences.

Hello! :D I hope you're spending your holidays wisely, studying and doing homework (if you haven't started, D: you're crazy!). But remember all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Or in this case, girl. Lol. xD

Calling all Sec 3s, on the 19th June, which is a Tuesday, the line-up is as follows,
10:30 to 12:30 - Item for 1st Coy 80th Anniversary dinner
12:30 to 1:30 - Flag raising lessons with Amanda Ang
1:30 to 2:30 - Item for Sec 4 farewell

And Nava and I would like to see Sec 1 to 3 Dovies from 2:30 to 4:30 on the same day.

Firstly, the new General Committee (GC). 'Grats to you guys for being voted. (: For those who didn't know or are very blur, the new GC is as follows:

Secondly, calendar updates.
1) The Sec 4 farewell is on 27th June. That's the first Wednesday after the June Holidays.

2) Due to the National GB dinner on 18th July, there will be NO meeting.

If you would like to go for the National GB dinner, please let your level rep know asap. Make sure the message gets to Mrs Yee by 15 JUNE latest.

Thirdly, contact lists.
All the Committee except Physical have yet to get back to me. Thanks to the other committees for doing so (:

Fourthly, for Sec 3s, Mrs Yee has requested that for the Secondary item for the 1st Coy dinner at Pines, the Sec 3s perform their Estherfez item. However, Nava realises that most of you might have forgetten. Plus, some people won't be there. On 6th June, kindly be at Concourse at 10:30 SHARP. Nava doesn't want to waste time. This will end at 1:30. A new item will be choreographed so bring your ideas, moves and music! ^^

Note: Those who won't be at the dinner, i.e. Twinning Programme to Penang, don't have to show up for the practice. (Woohoo! :D Hur hur. dx)

Fifthly, Sec 4 farewell.
Sec 3s: Please reply the email that you should have received from Jie Yi, otherwise inform her or drop a line at the 1st Coy email.

Joint Flag Day with YCC tomorrow. Meet at Yew Tee MRT station (on the green line). Most people should be in the afternoon shift, but morning shift is from 8.30am to 1pm. Afternoon shift is from 12.30pm to 5pm. Full GB uniform.

Hello again!

As you should already know, there won't be a GB meeting till July, unless you count AGM, but that's another story. Although there won't be an official meeting, I know many people still have GB related things to do.

Grace Loke, Sandy and Amanda Shan: Mrs Yee will open the GB room on Wednesday and leave the photo albums on the shelves. Bring them to Computer Lab 2.0 or 2.1, the one with the scanners. Scan the ones you'd like to use. When you're done, call Mrs Yee at the Primary school staffroom. Be reminded that this is due by end of the same week (end of April! D:)

Sec 3s: Pastor Fred Tan will talk to us again this Wednesday from 2.30 to 3.30. This will be conducted at 3M.

Anyways, from the looks of it, some of you have already found out already: Sec 4s don't need to come for GB this week. Mixed feelings! Hahaha. I think sec 4s don't need to come until mid-years end? ... Nevermind. Just continue to check here for updates. :)

Since the sec 4s are not coming, there will be a change in orderly (unless you expect letty to clone herself) but for now, none of us know or have decided who it's going to be. I've already notified Amanda (AA BATTERY! xD) about this, and hopefully she'll come up with something hee. :D BIG BIG HINT. :D

In the meantime, I just have 5 words for the orderly thing: Sec 3s, please BE PREPARED... >:D

Regarding this week's swim meet, all those who are doing duty (read: not swimming),

please meet at 7.30am after your attendance has been taken by your class.
Also, it's FULL UNIFORM - I think I've stressed this point enough. :D

I think look out for mrs yee? If not, just look for the spot where a bunch of blue people are congregating. Should be quite easy to spot, considering the fact we'll all be in uniform. Hahaha.

I resent that statement about me ALWAYS being online. *Glares* Sure, I'm online, but a lot of the time I'm not really there, you know. So yes. xD

Anyway, I gotta say our blog looks pretty darn awesome. (: Thanks to Charlotte and Stacey! And I'm not entirely sure stopping the emails now is such a good idea, cause there'd probably still be some people who don't know about this blog. So maybe spread it around a little more and make sure everyone knows, then we can stop? I don't know, I guess it's up to you guys.

By the way, older posts are pushed to the bottom and because the font is white like the background, they become invisible. And somehow, Cassie's post has gone all big and red. o.o Anyone gonna fix that?

Yay! First post! By me. Lol.

Anyway, as you can see by the credits, Lottey did the picture but as she got grounded (D:), Stacey did the codes. Kudos to the both of you anyway! Great work. (: The skin is a customised one specially for this blog. We might not change it unless it gets too old. Lol. However, if you are free you can create another skin but that has to be vetted. :D

I know you're probably wondering why there isn't a tagboard. As you can see, we decided on a comment system. Yes, it's more troublesome but it prevents spam. At least, more than a tagboard. Plus, we would like to repeat some stuff, yes?

As of now, only me, Amanda Ang, Stacey and Katrina have the password. Why? Amanda Ang's the Head of GC and she probably knows the most and needs this to tell us stuff. Stacey because she did the codes and further changes will be directed to her. Katrina because she's ALWAYS online. xD Any last minutes announcements that you can't post for whatever reason, tell her. Most probably the Upper Sec in Pub comm will know.

If you'd like to be linked, email us. (It's on the sidebar. Yes, how original. xD) And can someone tell me what the Sec 2 blog is?

I know some people are eager to post (*cough* ^^), we'll add you as a member. We can't have so many people knowing the password but if you frequent this enough, we'll consider extending it to you. (x

Oh yes! I failed to mention that there will be no more emails. That's what this blog's for! ^^ That way Petrina and Stacey won't always have to worry about telling us because we can get anyone of the Pub comm or whoever to post the info. ^^

Also, level reps will put your beautiful name will be here if you give them a hard time. That's, of course, by choice of your level reps but it's much easier this way! :D

One more thing, when you have received the info, comment the post saying you have. That way we know who knows and who doesn't. Then those who see it can call/ IM/ email those who don't already know. After which, that kind soul'll comment saying that their friend got the message. (:

It's not fool-proof but let's see how it goes first. :D
